Mandeep S Sandhu DVM 

Dr Sandhu has been in small animal practice since 1998. He graduated from Punjab Veterinary College, India. He completed one year clinical rotation program from Alabama. He completed his masters in preventive medicine and parasitology in 2000. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Chicago Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Sandhu has a special interest and experience in preventive health care, internal medicine, geriatric health and screening, routine and complicated surgery. He also has special interest in Laser surgery.

Allen Nilsson

Lead Technician

This is Whitney, my 13yr old lab x.  I rescued her from the Humane Society in Feb. 1996.  Before I got married, Whitney and I lived in southern California and would drive back and forth to northern MN where we are from. We spent our time camping and hiking in the mountians, and going to the beach.  I first started in the veterinary field in Huntington Beach, CA in 2003 and within a few months was promoted to supervisor of a staff of 23 employees.  After  3 1/2yrs I moved on to a hospital in the high desert in Silver Lakes, CA for 6 months before my wife and I decided to move to Crystal Lake.  My wife is also a vet tech, in Woodstock, where she grew up before moving to CA.  I started working for Dr. Sandhu in Aug. of 07' right after I moved here.  You will not see me very often for I am the surgery technician and I spend my time with your "furry children", preparing them for and assisting in surgery, monitoring them during and after while they are recovering before going home.

Technician

I have been a Technician here since March 2007.  I assist in preparing surgeries, assisting in surgeries and after care until they are ready to go home.  I also take care of the sick pets while they are here and make sure they are comfortable.  I have 3 cats, 2 dogs and a horse of my own that are wonderful pets. I plan to go back to college soon to further my education and continue working here.

Kathy Hoenle

Receptionist

I started working with Dr. Sandhu in January 07.  We started doing house calls together until the hospital opened in February 07.  I have had alot of fun working here.  I enjoy the clients and the patients and always try to make sure there experience at our office is the best.  I also have 3 cats Billy, Justin, and Tinker which you can be sure they are very spoiled.  My daughter and I aslo share a horse named Zip.  We spend alot of time together making sure he is spoiled also.

I have been here at Randall Road Animal Hospital since May 2007. This is my first time working at a vet clinic. I really enjoy working with your pets. I have a dog (Max) and three cats.

I began working here in the beginning of July 2008. I am usually up front at the receptionist desk or in one of our rooms helping clients and their pets. I really enjoy my job and I appreciate how everyone works togerther to give the best care to every pet.
