Mandeep Sandhu, DVM
Dr. Sandhu has been in small animal practice since 1998. He graduated from Punjab Veterinary College, India. Then he completed one year clinical rotation program in Alabama. Dr. Sandhu completed his Masters in preventive medicine and parasitology in 2000. He is an active member of the America Veterinary Medical Association and Chicago Veterinary Medical Association. Dr Sandhu has a special interest and experience in preventive health care, internal medicine, geriatric health and screening, routine and complicated surgery. He also has special interest in Laser Surgery and orthopedic surgery. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife ,son and family.
Manmeet Gill, DVM
Dr. Manmeet S. Gill is one of the practicing veterinarians at Randall Road Animal Hospital. Dr. Gill graduated from Punjab Agricultural University with a Bachelors in Veterinary Science and later a Masters in Pharmacology. He was pursuing graduate studies at Iowa State University, before starting a career in veterinary medicine. Dr.Gill is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. He worked for Banfield, the pet hospital before joining Randall Road Animal Hospital in March 2011.
Dr. Gill has been married since 2004 to Hargeet, who has a doctorate in Genetics and is pursuing a career in Molecular Biology. They have a beautiful daughter, Aania, who is 4 and is a very energetic preschooler.

Amanda Liesse, DVM
Dr. Amanda Liesse is Randall Road Animal Hospital’s newest veterinarian, joining the practice in June of 2014. Having graduated from Dundee-Crown High School, she is excited to be returning to a familiar community. Dr. Liesse received a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University (GO CYCLONES!), then went on to obtain her veterinary doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.
An early fascination with animals and a knack for science ushered Dr. Liesse into the veterinary profession. Although she is passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine, Dr. Liesse has a profound interest in canine rehabilitation and sports medicine. She is currently working to gain official certification as a canine rehabilitation practitioner (C.C.R.P.) through the University of Tennessee and is a member of the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians.
Dr. Liesse believes in the benefit of a well-rounded lifestyle for both the client and his/her pet. Outside of her career, she enjoys nothing more than spending time outdoors with her two Australian Shepherds, Isabella (Izzy) and Cooper. Hiking, biking, and playing tennis are just a few of her favorite hobbies.
Cindy Borchardt, DVM
Dr. Cindy Borchardt graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in May, 2016. Before attending veterinary school, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. Her medical interests include neurology and oncology. Dr. Borchardt believes in working with the client and strives to promote a lasting human-animal bond between the owner and his/her pet.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Borchardt enjoys spending time with family and friends. If she’s not walking and playing with her husky mix, Athena, Dr. Borchardt can be found playing basketball or volleyball, enjoying a good book, or participating in outdoor activities such as kayaking and hiking.
Dr. Jessica Manassa graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May, 2015 after four years at Illinois State University for undergraduate school. She spent the last year at a preventive care practice, and is ready to broaden her veterinary career at Randall Road Animal Hospital. Her veterinary passions include preventive care and behavior medicine, and her goal is to minimize stress on both pet and parent during veterinary appointments.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her gorgeous cat, spunky ferret, and excitable horse. Dr. Manassa absolutely loves Broadway musicals and spends a great deal of her free time playing flute and guitar, and singing along (horribly) to show tunes.
